Does it cost anything to join?
No. There's no sign-up fee, no monthly fee and no lock-in contract. Hire Skip only makes money from the margin we add on top of your rate — charged to the customer, never deducted from you.
Do you take a commission off my price?
Never. You quote your rate and you receive your rate in full. Our margin sits on top of your number and is paid by the customer, so what you charge is always what you're paid.
How and when do I get paid?
We collect payment from the customer upfront when they book, then remit your rate to you for confirmed jobs — so you're not carrying the job or chasing invoices after collection. You'll see every job and its status in your supplier portal.
Can I set my own rates, areas and waste types?
Yes. You control your pricing, bin sizes, accepted waste types and the postcodes you service. Update them any time in the portal, and we'll only send you jobs that match.
Who handles the customer?
We do — from the first quote through to booking, payment, changes, support and refunds. You handle delivery, collection and disposal. That's the whole split.
Am I locked in or tied to exclusivity?
No. Take the jobs that suit your runs, keep serving your own direct customers, and pause or adjust your availability whenever you need to. There's no exclusivity and no contract.
